History
Prime Practice Partnership was formed from a strong vision a group of clinicians had, to develop services that were revolved around patients. Early on in the delivery of services the clinicians had a vision that they wanted to give patients control of their health and deliver services that revolved around patients.
In discussion with our patients they identified their vision of services that supported them to live strong health lives independently with support. This allowed the flexibility to maintain a lifestyle the patients aspired to. Increasingly the partnership felt this was possible to provide services in a flexible fashion. The like-minded partners joined together and developed service models that allowed patient to be able to access services over telephone, manage their appointments themselves and book at times that were convenient for them. The services provided by the partnership soon were rated by the patients among the best in the country. Patients continue to provide a strong focus to the services the partnership provide and often develop the strategy that the partnership delivers.
The partnership has a combined total of over 50 years’ experience of providing care to patients in Primary care and Secondary care services. The partnership prides itself in developing service models that provide excellent services valued by patients and assured by regulators in deprived inner London boroughs with high transiency and ethnic mix.
Since the focus of services provided has always been in the inner London Boroughs with a highly deprived population and a wide ethnic mix the partnership has developed models providing care to a focussed population group rather than generic models of service models .This has particularly been appreciated by patients. The staffing model in the partnership always reflects the patient group making the services appreciate patient needs much better.
